Biography

Drummer based in Boston Massachusetts, with more than 10 years of experience. He divides his time between shows, classes, recording sessions and producing artists.

Started his studies in 2007 with Professor Rubén López in Saladillo, province of Buenos Aires. In 2013 he entered the "Escuela de Música Contemporanea" (EMC) where he studied with Fernando Martinez until graduating in 2016. During that time at the EMC, I was summoned by different professors to participate in ensembles and to be part of the "Project Band". Thanks to being awarded a scholarship for the academic performance, he was chosen by the directors to represent the school at the "VI Congreso Latinoamericano de Escuelas de Música (CLAEM)", held at the University of Souza Lima (São Paulo, Brazil) where I attended with academic director Daniel Johansen. At the same time, I studied Music Production at CEARTEC, where I graduated in 2018. In 2022 he received a scholarship to study at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, where he currently reside.

 

During those years he worked as a session musician accompanying solo artists, producing, recording and doing Drum Dr sessions. In 2016 he participated as a percussionist in the Ibero-American premiere of "Die Soldaten" (Zimmerman), an opera directed by Baldur Brönnimann at the well known “Teatro Colón”. Gudy worked with artists like León Gieco, Mariú Fernandez, Camila Blazquez, Camilo Reiners among many others and recorded for producers like Marcelo Predacino, who called him in 2019 to audition as a drummer for Abel Pintos' band. He has recently been on tour in Europe presenting playing drums for the album "Altántida" by Sergio de Miguel which he also mixed and mastered.

 

Gudy is currently in Boston, Massachusetts, studying at Berklee College of Music and working with local artists.
